Hi,

These are special numbers triggering a local call when dialed from within Australia. You will have to find a regular number used by the business you are trying to reach.

The phone number in Australia is 1300 xxx xxx. I am trying to make the call from a calling card in the US. The way I am trying to dial it is 011 61 1300 xxx xxx. How ever it says it cannot complete the call. The place I am calling is in Brisbane I believe, if that matters. Can someone please help me with the correct syntax? Is a 1300 number similar to 1-800 numbers here in the US?
