&#60;p&#62;All mobile and some fixed telephone numbers in Malawi will change from 7 to 9 digits as follows:&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;ul&#62;
&#60;li&#62;Carrier Malawi Telecom - fixed numbers of the format 1 ??? ??? will remain unchanged&#60;/li&#62;
&#60;li&#62;Newly licensed fixed operator Access Communications: numbers issued will be 9 digit - 2 1??? ????&#60;/li&#62;
&#60;li&#62;Newly licensed mobile operator Globally Advanced Integrated Networks Ltd: numbers issued will be 77 ??? ????&#60;/li&#62;
&#60;li&#62;Mobile numbers of the format 4 ??? ??? and 8 ??? ??? will be added digits 88 to become 88 ??? ????&#60;/li&#62;
&#60;li&#62;Mobile numbers of the format 3 ??? ???, 5 ??? ??? and 9 ??? ??? will be added digits 99 to become 99 ??? ????&#60;/li&#62;
