   + 00230 (7 digits mobile number) - Need to call a person who is from Mauritius on holidays in UK and his phone is roaming.

   How to phone him?

   Hello,

   You just wrote the correct way to dial except you don't need to add the plus sign. So just dial 00 230 followed by the 7 digit cell number. You will of course pay international charges for dialing this number.

   Texting to ask him if there was a landline telephone to call him would be cheaper.

   You are right dial 00 230 followed by the 7 digit cell number and charged as international call.
