Im trying to call my friend and i am not sure wht im doing wrong..it looks like the number he gave me has two many digits.. his number is 009 72525xxxxxx
Please advise..would i dial 011-20-69 and then 009.......
i guess i thought it should only be a total of 8 or 9 numbers.

The confusion comes from the fact that this isn't an Egypt phone number. It is an Israeli cell phone. Even if the owner of this phone is in Egypt, you will still have to call them as if they were in Israel: 011 972 525 xxxxxx. In other words, they gave you a complete number - you just have to replace 00 with 011. 00 is the exit code used to dial abroad from most countries. The US however uses 011 instead.
