   I want to call someone in Rwanda from the US (New York)...they have a cellular phone-what is the cost of calling there from my land line (Verizon) as opposed to my cell phone, which is AT&T?
   Are there advantages or disadvantages of one over the other?

   Generally calling internationally using a landline costs less than calling using a cellular plan. Try contacting Verizon and AT&T to find out the rates to Rwanda cellular. For comparison, we advertise a third party calling service on our website and I just checked their rates: 15 cents/min to Rwanda.
