   I have a friend that wants to txt me from colombia and Im in Connecticut. How does she go about it?

   Hello,
   Texting works the same as dialing. To dial/text internationally from Colombia you must know what carrier you are with because different carriers use different international exit codes. Check out this page for a list of these codes by carrier:
   http://www.howtocallabroad.com/results.php?callfrom=colombia&callto=united_states

   There is another option that usually works with cellular phones: replace the exit code (00x) with the plus sign: + 1 ??? ??? ????.
