Hello, I will have my US cell phone with me while traveling in Australia. What do my Australian friends dial to reach my phone?

Do they dial 1+ my US area code + 7 digit number?
Or do they need to dial 04+1+US area code + 7 digit number?
    Or something else?

    Thanks

    Hello,

Australians will dial 0011 followed by your complete US number (1 xxx xxx xxxx). In other words they will call you as if you were still in the US. 0011 is the code they use to dial international calls.
