   I press 001 84 area code + local number but it isn't ok. do I have to buy a card? Where can I buy it? I have just gone to Korea, so I don't know.I am at Inje University, medical school.

   Hello Vu,

   This page shows you all the codes needed to dial from Korea to Vietnam . It is impossible for me to know what telephone plan you have, whether or not you can place direct international calls. You must first ensure that you can dial out of South Korea. If not try searching for a calling card online.    One thing to check: when dialing within Vietnam phone numbers start with a 0 (zero). When dialing the same number from outside Vietnam you must leave out this starting digit.
