how to sms from Saudi Arabia to US?

    what code to use when sending an sms from Saudi Arabia to US. DO you just put 001 followed by the 10 digit number?

    Yes, or you can use the plus sign instead of 00.

    Tried that but the person on the other end didn't receive my sms. I know that when they send me an sms from US, they have to send it as 011 followed by my 12 digit number.

    So you're saying that their SMS arrives and yours doesn't? If so try calling your mobile wireless provider and ask them why you can't send SMS messages. 011 is the code used to dial out of the US just like 00 is the code used in South Africa.
