I completly lost contact with my parent anytime i tried our home number in BENIN the phone goes off.
I finilly realised that there is now an area code.

please help me to allocate if the number is been changed or not.

This number you have looks right - fixed numbers are 8 digit in Benin (since 2005 when they were 6 digit). Maybe your parents no longer have this number - I tried dialing it too and I receive an inexistent number error.
