Text messaging from canada to cuba cell phone

    Just wondering how to text message from Canadian cell to Cuban cell. I tried 53 then the number and it went through but my friend isn't receiving the messages.

    Try placing 011 in front of 53.

    I tried that also but it doesn't work. Any other ideas?

    Well this is what you use to text Cuba from Canada. If it doesn't work then it is a network issue - try calling your wireless provider to inquire about this (most likely they have been asked questions about this before).
