   Im trying to text a cell phone in Emmen in the Netherlands, they are with KPN. I would like to know the area code and the country code i need to put before the cell number. Aslo id like to know how many digits does a cell phone have in Emmen using KPN provider. Thankyou.

   Hi Rimonde. Judging by your email address I suppose you are from Australia (this is important). Cell numbers in the Netherlands do not use area codes. They use the following format nationwide: 6 ???? ????. So you will dial 0011 31 6 ???? ???? (or you can replace 0011 with the plus sign).
