My wife will be in Germany next month and we are wondering who pays if I call her US phone while she is in Europe? Do both our phones get charged intl rates or just mine? Thanks.

Hello,
Your wife's phone alone gets charged international roaming charges. You will call her as if she were still in the US (no international codes needed) and you will not incur international charges. The link below opens a page that explains in detail how international roaming works:
