I want to call my daughter who is subletting an apartment in Berlin. I am in Canada and would be calling on a landline to the landline in the apartment. Would there be any charge to that number for receiving a long distance international call?

Hello John,
The answer is no, there will be no charges at all to the landline number receiving the call. This rule applies to any landline anywhere in the world. Moreover, in Europe and most countries outside North America cell phones aren't charged for received calls either.
