Hello, I was givien the number of a Norwegian friend travelling here in the US. The number begins with 00 and then 47 followed by 8 digits. My comcast land line just conects me to information when I dial 0. I’ve also tried skipping the zeros, but no go. Any help would be appreciated!

Hello Iris.
You should replace 00 with 011 (00 is used to call internationally from Europe while the US and Canada use 011): 011 47 followed by the 8 digits. Note that this will be an international call for you.
