    The cottage we’ve reserved for vacation lists its phone as 353 087 2938???. Am I to add 011 to the beginning of this string of numbers? We will also be calling some folks in Belfast, NI. Thank you .

    Hi Beth,

    Yes, add 011 before 353 and also drop the starting zero (087 becomes 87). The starting zero in Irish numbers is used for calls within Ireland.

    For calls to Belfast use the dialing instructions for caling the UK . Remember that cell numbers in the UK/Ireland do not use area codes.
