Calling UK landline from Montreal landline

    I am aware to dial direct, we use 011, country code 44 then the number.

    The published # has a 01 and then 9 digits.

    the message says it is not a correct #. Which digits do I leave out 0 and 1 ?

    You leave out the initial zero only. Our page on dialing to the UK has more detailed information and area codes:
