I have booked a table at a restaurant in Rome and they want me to give them a contact number for me whilst I’m there.. does my UK number beginning +447 have to be altered in any way to make it receive calls from Rome whilst in Rome..??

Hello,

No, your number should work fine without adding or removing any extra digits. They will of course pay international charges to reach you.
