how to call this Guyanese cell #?

In Trinidad, my friend from Guyana gave me his number before I had to go back home to New Jersey. The number I was given is 1-868-784-0???.

I tried calling with the exit code and Guyanese country code with and without 6, but it didn’t work. Since is starts with a Trinidadian country code, I tried dialing the number like a Trini number, it still didn’t work.

Please helpn me, I need to know how to contact this person! It can be from the USA to Guyana, or Trinidad to Guyana. Or better yet, both.

This is definitely a Trinidad cellular. If the person you are calling is in Guyana he/she mist have roaming service to use this phone outside of Trinidad. To dial it from the US just enter the number like dialing a US state to state call: 1 868… When in Trinidad you can dial the 7 digit local number or 868+local number.
