I am traveling to SOuth Africa and using my cell phone. What prefixes, etc. does someone in the US need to add to my number in order to reach me while abroad?

    Hello Mary,
People in the US will call you as if you were still in the US (no international codes needed). Your wireless carrier will automatically redirect the call to South Africa.

To make calls back home you need to put 00 before the complete US number: 00 1 ??? ??? ????.
