How to call a German cell phone with a US cell while in Germany

I will be traveling in Germany and will need to call a German cell phone with my US cell phone. The number I was given is 011 49 170 1152xxx.
What should I do?

Thank you for your inquiry.
011 is the code used to dial international calls from the USA. While in Germany, either use the local dialing sequence: 0170 1152xxx or +49 170 1152xxx which is basically the universal dialing format (it works from any country).
