I plan to be in the US from Canada with my Canadian cell (10 digit number), how do I call a UK mobile user who will also be in the US? Do I use the full 11 digit UK number, including the first "0"? or do I have to call the 011-44 prefix and drop the first "0"; or ???
Thanks for any help you can provide...

You will use 011 44 and drop the starting zero.

    Many thanks!!!
My other question would be, while we have a Telus, "US travel plan" to negate roaming fees, with a fixed $0.25c/minute long-distance charge, would making this call to a UK number constitute an international long distance call, even thought they could be in the next room?
    Apprecaite your feedback...

Yes, the call is international no matter where they are. The call goes through the UK carrier and then it is routed back to the US.
