    Hi ,

    Am Sandeep. Trying to call a friend in stuttgart , Germany from USA using Calling Card. My friend is located in stuttgart in Germany & his number is XXXXXXXX (8 Digits) . Please advise me on this.

    I tried following options. 49+ 711 + Mobile Number . But it dint help. Please help me.

    You mean 011 49….? Or also +49 should work, not just 49.

    If your friend’s number is a mobile phone then 711 won’t work because, as mentioned on our page on how to call Germany, geographical area codes are used with fixed numbers only. I don’t know why your friend would give you an incomplete cell number, because these numbers can have different prefixes across Germany (15, 16 or 17), and there is no way for you to guess which one to use. Again, if this is a mobile phone.

    I would contact this person in some other way and clarify this.

    I NEED HELP. I GOT THIS CELL NUMBER FROM GERMANY,I M IN USA, AND I TRIED A LOT TO CALL THIS NUMBER HE TOLD ME CALL LIKE THIS 00961 76391289

    Hello,

    This is a cell number from Lebanon. Calling it works the same when the person carrying the phone travels abroad. Try replacing the starting 00 with 011. See more info on the page below:
