How to send text message to Ukraine mobile

This may sound a silly question but I have a Ukrainian number which I am trying to send a text message to and I’m not sure how to do it correctly. Ive sent what I think is correct but have had no reply so not sure if I did it correctly.

Hello,

I see you are from the UK. Texting or calling a Ukraine cell from the UK has this dialing sequence: 00 380 followed by the Ukraine cell which should be 9 digit. Below is a link showing you cellular number formats for Ukraine:

One other detail – you can also use the plus sign instead of 00.
