Nicaragua telephone numbering changes

Starting April 22, 2009 all Nicaragua fixed and mobile numbers will be added one digit at the beginning resulting in 8 digit telephone numbers nationwide. Fixed numbers will be added digit 2 and mobile numbers digit 8 as follows:
- 2??? ???? – new fixed numbers
- 8??? ???? – new mobile numbers
