I have had a phone call show up on my phone bill that was made to Russia. I have a son that we adopted from there, so I know he made the call. The phone company cannot tell me who the call was made to, so I want to call the number myself and see who he has called. I just found it and have not comfronted him yet, but I will ask him when he gets home from school. It could be family he's trying to reach or it could be a porn hotline. He has a history of doing this. We have blocks on our phone, but he figured out the code we have placed on our phone for long distance calls. The number showing up on the bill is 712432222??? Is there some way for me to find out what city in Russia it was made to and possibly who it was made to? Also, how would I call it myself? Thanks for any help.

    Hi,
This number you listed above doesn't look right. Did you replace the last 3 digits or did you add ??? to the complete number? All Russian phone numbers are 10 digit (without the country code which is 7). Also, I don't know of any Russian number starting with 1 (one). Try dialing it to see what happens (you would add 011 before the number).

I replaced the last 3 digits with ??? After talking to my son, he says he called a Russian friend he knew here in the us. He said it was a cell phone. He said this friend now lives in Spain. Could the friend possibly have a cell phone from Russia? Not sure whether to believe him or not. I will try to call the number. Thanks for your help.
