    Hey all.

I'm trying to find out if calling a number in Malta, (I'm in Australia) is there a cost to receive international calls on a Mobile? my friend is using Metila as her carrier and everything is restricted to those who have an account. My understanding is, the caller pays the cost when dialing, is that correct?

I'm sorry if this question was asked but I couldn't see it in the forums.

    Thank you for your time

    Hi Thomas.
    Thank you for your question.
No country in the European Union charges the called party for receiving calls on mobile, Malta included. So you (the caller) will be the only one paying for the call. This rule applies to most countries. The big exception is the US where airtime is used for placing and receiving calls as well.

Thank you Admin, I was just double checking, I was pretty sure but I only know about Australia, from what I have heard, it's the deal, only the caller pays the costs if the Australian sim is within the Australian boarder.
