text to israeli # while visiting israel

I use a BB in the US. I am visiting Israel. I can sms to my friends in the US but none of the sms I send to my friends in Israel are being received. they show that they are sent.
I looked at all the instructions on line – not working. I even got some one from Tech on chat to help. his instructions did not work. what am I doing wrong?

Moe,

While in a foreign country your cell phone works as if it were registered in that particular country. In other words, you should text to Israel phone numbers without entering any international codes. Israel cellular numbers when dialed from Israel should have the following format: 05? ??? ????.
