Texting from Greece to Mexico

Hello, I need some help figuring out why I cannot seem to message my friend who is in Mexico. At first when he gave the number I could message but couldn’t call. Then I could call, but I couldn’t message… And then suddenly I couldn’t do either; every time I tried to call, it played an error tune, as if the number didn’t exist and my messages were never delivered. I managed to solve the calling problem by adding the number 1 after the 0052 (I called by my home and there were instructions of doing so) and yet I still cannot send messages at all. He cannot message either. Help is much appreciated.

Hi Nariteka,

The numbers you use to call should also work for texting. All I can advice you is to call your wireless provider and inquire about this issue. Possibly your plan no longer allows for international texting.
