    1. How do you use a US cell phone to call a London landline while in England?
    2. How do you use a US cell phone to call a Paris landline while in France?
    3. How do you use a US cell phone to call the US while in these countries?

    Thanks

    Hello,

When used abroad, a (US) cell phone works like a phone registered in the country you are in for calls made and remains a US cell for received calls. In other words, to call a London and Paris landlines while in the UK and France respectively you will dial these numbers the way locals do without adding any international calling codes. To call the US you will dial 00 1 followed by the 3 digit area code and 7 digit number.

    I hope this helps.

Heads-up

Some information on these forums could be outdated - countries change their numbering plans periodically. We recommend using our top menu to double check the correct instructions for dialing to a specific country.
