asked for calling card

    I am trying to call a land line in Ontario, Canada from my landline in Oregon, however, the call will not go through as I keep getting a recording saying my calling card has expired and need to put money on it....I don't have a calling card, haven't had for 15 years...how do I get my call to go through?

    Hello,

    Probably your calling plan does not include calls to Canada which are after all international calls. If you don't have a calling card maybe you need one to place this call (you would then dial a US access number to connect). My advice: either call your telephone service provider and ask them what your options would be or you can use a calling card. If one call is all you need to make you can use the free trial call provided by our calling card partner. To do this visit the page below and look for the Calling Cards section at the bottom:
